Avram Glazer is planning to attend Manchester United’s Carabao Cup final against Newcastle United at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. Fans protested the Glazer family ownership of United before and during the game, holding banners which read, “Fight greed. United need to raise funds to renovate Old Trafford and improve Carrington, with costs potentially reaching £2bn. Manchester United have not won a piece of silverware since May 2017, when Jose Mourinho led the club to a Europa League win over Ajax. United have won five Premier League titles, one Champions League, one FA Cup and four League Cups under the Glazer ownership.
