Kolkata, Feb 11 (PTI) Filmmaker Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury says he doesn't relate with the phrase "women-centric" as he believes a character's arc solely depends on the story. His latest movie "Lost" is an investigative thriller, featuring Gautam as a crime reporter in a relentless search for the truth behind the sudden disappearance of a young theatre activist. "I will try to make a Bengali film this year, a story on urban relationships. Roy Chowdhury is also happy about the success of several Bengali movies that hit the theatres in the past few months. If you make good films, the audience will come to the halls, they will find a film with rich content.

Colombo, Feb 23 (PTI) Sri Lanka's Supreme Court on Thursday postponed the hearing of a writ petition seeking an order to halt the March 9 local body elections until May 11, casting uncertainty on the conduct of elections in the island country. The apex court postponed the hearing of the petition filed by a retired Sri Lanka Army Colonel seeking an order to invalidate the preparations being made for the Local Government Election until May 11, two months after the scheduled date. Speaking in parliament on Thursday, President Ranil Wickremesinghe also hinted that the local election may not take place. “There is no election declared by the election commission. The Election Commission informed the Supreme Court that it was difficult to conduct local body polls on March 9 due to various reasons linked to the cash-strapped country's current economic crisis.

The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.1per cent to 3,294.68 and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong advanced 0.5 per cent to 20,524.60. The Fed's key lending rate stands at 4.50 per cent to 4.75 per cent, up from close to zero a year ago. Trades see a 3-in-4 chance the Fed will raise rates by 0.25 points at its next meeting in March, according to CME Group. A month ago, traders saw a roughly one-in-five chance that the Fed wouldn't raise rates at all in March.
