The president’s party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), is fielding a former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, as its presidential candidate. The election materials distributed include sensitive and non-sensitive materials, Biometric Voters Accreditation, election result sheets and ballot materials amongst others. Supporters of Peter Obi have expressed anger and bitterness over the reported death of the candidate three days to the elections.
