Former Brown men's hockey standout Steve King '91 was inducted into the Rhode Island Hockey Hall of Fame. King, an East Greenwich, Rhode Island native, was a two-time All State selection at Hendricken.While at Brown, King played in 104 career games and tallied 56 goals and 33 assists for 89 points. His 56 career goals are tied for 11th-most in program history. King ended with 67 career NHL games – split between the Rangers and Ducks.In 280 career AHL games, King tallied 145 goals and 100 assists. The 2023 Induction dinner is set for August 19 at Rhodes-on-the-Pawtuxet in Cranston.King is the fourth Bear inducted to the Rhode Island HHOF in recent years.
