The India Meteorological Department has issued a heatwave warning for Konkan in Maharashtra and Kutch districts in Gujarat, which has come way ahead of time. - Advertisement -Last year, Indian meteorologists issued the first heatwave warning of the year in March. It is already scorching heat in many parts of India and the first heatwave warning of this year has come almost a month ago. Meanwhile, the rest of India started witnessing hot weather which is usually recorded in mid-March and is at least 9 degrees above normal. Because of this, the highest temperature increase on record was recorded this week.
